If you're going to be near eastern Iowa this August ...

Lightning will light up the eastern Iowa skies for two days straight come August, as JL fans from far and wide converge at the intersections of Highways 136 & 20 for Lightning Fest 2009.

Kinda heavy on the Duke's this year. I don't think it's like that every year, I dunno. Maybe they'll have a Blues Brothers/Bluesmobile theme one year! Bring your Johnny Lightning Bluesmobile and get in free. :D

Didn't go but I've been to Dyersville many times. The "Field of Dreams" house and ball field are there.

Sounds like this would have been fun to see.
