Hi,
Would anyone care to have seen Carrie Fisher's character, Camille, move from being Jake's ex-girlfriend to joining him and Elwood in their band, and thus renaming the group as "The Blues Brothers Plus One"?
Here's my interpretation of "The Blues Girl": She would, of course, have the same costume and attire as the Blues Brothers (fedora, Wayfarer shades, tie, watch, etc.), with a combination of both Jake and Elwood's talents (singing and playing harmonica, respectively + plus an Ovation electroacoustic guitar for some acoustic edge without losing the electric blues side). But her hair would be cut short, and she would wear red lipstick.
What's your interpretation of Camille the Blues Girl?

After getting stood-up at her wedding, then literally dumped in the tunnel ... my interpretation is that she would be even more obsessed with killing Jake than ever before. This may be a problem with members of the band.

I agree with Steam. I can't see her in the band...
I could see her popping up ocassionally on visiting hours to threaten and harass Jake, though.

There's definitely no place for Camille in the band...
No, there isn't any.
Maybe with Tucker McElroy...
Same intentions and always a bed at hand when chaising Jake in long time persuit. If the Winnebago wasn't broke, but there might be a new one.

Haha ... wow. Has this been covered in a fan-fic somewhere? Tucker and Camille ... LOL. I've never thought about it but it makes perfect sense. Tucker would have a new Winnebago, Mercer! :o Really fast. Camille, she'd be on the roof firing rockets at the Bluesmobile. Heh ... Tucker and Camille, I mean ... who knew? lol
Tucker and Camille. Camille and Tucker. They could have had their own show in the 80's. Bootin' around in the souped up Winnebago, town to town, brushes with the local law enforcement ... every week

I picture the blues brothers as having a strict "No broads allowed" policy.

Hmmmmm.... Maybe, but I am not 100% sure about this. I think it would have to be someone very unique. I agree that they wouldn't let just any girl in the band, etc. Yet, I could potentially see someone with a REAL strong personality do it...
Mrs. Murphy? But I doubt she'd wear the black and whites.
