In this video I am using a "Suzuki" HarpMaster Harmonica in the key of (A) . I am playing a song that I wrote 20 years ago but never had the nerve to sing in public.

Damn, Steve...that's righteous, brother....nothing to be ashamed of there, my friend!:BB:

How long have you been playing the harp? Please say 6 months, because I've been trying to learn for the last 2 or 3 months myself---give me some hope, brother!

After I first loaded this video I thought,my God I should not have loaded that ! So,thank you for the words of encouragement very much.I have been playing harmonica for around 30 years,I should be 10 times better tho !!! The main thing is,you HAVE got to play some EVERY DAY.I had rather see my students play 15 minutes every day rather than one time a week for 2 hours.

NEVER GIVE UP,KEEP TRYING!

Thanks for the encouraging words, Steve....I try to play it a little every day, even though I can't put as much time into it as I would like...but, I'm going to keep plugging away at it!:BB:

Heh....a year ago my Blues Harp I instructor told us that if you don't practice for at least fifteen minutes a day, the harmonica police will find you. :D

Very nice stuff, thanks! I grok, I've been "playing" for over 25 years but for many of those years in the middle I didn't keep up with it at all, and as a result I really haven't developed much. Been spending more time with it the past couple years at least, so hopefully I'm turning that around at last!

Thank you for watching this video, playing the harmonica gives me so much pleasure but it sure is a little monster as far as mastering it. But that is actually one of the true treasures of life, playing for people both in person and over the internet .

May the KARMA of "The Blues Brothers" be with you all !
