I have been scouring the internet looking for information on Natalie Ann Cummins, who developed the diatonic harmonica in the 19th Century. Historical data on this woman is none that I can find. Anyone with info on her, where she lived, worked, biography?
Who Is Natalie Ann Cummins?

She had nothing to do with the development of the harmonica - she's just a wikipaedia vandal
This is where she adds her name to the article:
Harmonica - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
and here's the smoking gun. edited on the same day by the same IP address, scroll down to "Associate Student Body"
Foothill High School (Santa Ana, California) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(I've now corrected things)

Ah so! Thank you very much for clearing that up. It was driving me nuts looking for her info. Now I have it. Did she vandalize the Wikipedia or did someone else do it?

I can only go on the IP address of the person who made the edits. I think the evidence is pretty conclusive that she, or someone connected to her at Foot Hills High School did it though.
Amazing that in over a year noone else spotted it!

Thanks for checking it. I was having a hard time believing someone could invent something like the diatonic and not have any info on her.
