Yesterday, my car was in front of of the liquor store. Got there at 1PM for a 3:30 arrival. Dan showed up and made a beeline to my Fury. He said WHO OWNS THIS FINE CAR???? I said I did, he shook my hand and proceeded to autograph the drivers door. The picture was on the front page of the Nashua Telegraph this am. With a little story.....
Happy.. There must have been 700 people that took my cars picture and got in the front seat for a picture.. Lots of happy kids and adults......

PS Like I told the Big Boy when we were sitting 1800 miles from home.. You take care of me and I will take care of you........ He hasn't let me down and I will continue to make him happy.....

Does anyone know if Dan is a business partner in the Fenway House of Blues? Or is the whole thing now owned by LiveNation and he makes appearances at premieres of new locations?

He's still an important figure in the House of Blues, acting as a "Founding Consultant", although as you stated, it's owned by Live Nation.

To Stien529: What a compliment having your car autographed by Elwood! I think that is so nice that you let people have their photos taken with it. I don't know if you still have the car but I can imagine that many a charity would give their eye teeth to be able to raise money for their cause by having people donate what they can to have photos taken with your cool bluesmachine!

Since Dan is presently a "founding consultant" of the House of Blues, I hope he becomes a proactive presence with "motivating" the Boston location to get their act together, no pun intended!

Yeh but, I think you'd have a better chance of seeing him where you are than over here.
