I got everything I need....almost...
"I was growing sick of rock and roll, it was starting to bore me...and I hated disco, so I needed some place to go. I hadn't heard much blues before. It felt good."-John Belushi
(Still inspiring me--and knowing me like a book)

Great to read that, Elwood, thanks! I was especially taken by this quote:
Aykroyd: The major expense of Blues Brothers was not the seventy police cars we bought from the Chicago Police Department. We paid only $700 each for them. the major expense was labor, so that's good, it gets people working, and why shouldn't the profits of the megacorporations be reinvested in the trades of this industry? If I write a big show and it costs a lot of money, I make no apologies. I'd be a wealthier made today and a better businessman if I sat down and wrote small movies that cost little and brought in lots
So the moral? To save the economy, make more Blues Brothers movies now!!

"Something's stirring deep down in the cone."

That particular issue, autographed by Pamela, was selling for $30.
You can get a mint copy for around $10 bucks.
Amazon.com: Playboy August 1993 Pamela Anderson (Playboy): Books
http://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum2/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_cool.gif
And then Takk let us know that 10 years earlier there was also a "Playgirl" interview.

I'm sure the ladies bought this one for the exclusive interview with Richard Simmons. lol

This picture provided by Christie's shows a Feb. 1993 Stephen Wayda photograph of Pamela Anderson and Dan Aykroyd. It is one of 125 items of original art from the Playboy Enterprises archive up for sale at a Dec. 8 auction at Christie's in New York dubbed "The Year of the Rabbit."

I actually read a blurb yesterday while surfing TV Tropes that while Playgirl was initially intended for ladies, most of its subscribers are gay men. :D That's okay, I subscribe to OUT, which is a gay culture mag aimed at men. (Their sister mag The Advocate is a general LGBT publication.)
