Welcome to the brand new Soul Food Cafe forum!

You'll notice several changes to the site, the most obvious being the brand new look!

Inspired by the Murphy's Soul Food Cafe on Maxwell Street in the movie, the new design uses original artwork created exclusively for this site.

The new forum is now designed for 1024x768 and above screen resolutions (97% of our visitors support this resolution). This means there is less empty space being wasted on either side of your monitor, and hopefully less scrolling down to read long posts!

There are also now special icons for each forum, which should make it easier to tell which forum you're clicking on without having to read the title/description too carefully!

Also, on the left side of every post on the forum you'll find a minor (but handy) change, underneath the poster's avatar is the Post Count (directly underneath Location/Country). You can now click on the post count to view a list of that user's posts (instead of clicking on their username and going to "Find more posts by...").

Please post any comments/suggestions/problems you might have in this thread here.

Thanks!

Man it look's sweet and smooth good Job :)

Elwood-leaving the next generation with nothing but recycled, digitally sampled techno grooves, quasi synth rhythms, pseudo songs of violence laden gangsta rap, acid pop, and simpering, saccharine, soulless slush.

Unfortunately not, the old one's disabled, it doesn't work with the latest software version anymore.

Any particular reason why you need the old one?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean there. Do you mean the icons for threads?

Because it's not possible to doubleclick on them to mark the thread as read, it only works if you're an administrator (and it actually locks the forum so nobody can post).
