I believe they are Pork pies, not fedoras. Pretty much the same thing but with a shorter brim and a slightly different top. I too am looking for one. Actually I want two. I want a black one and a blue one.

I found mine at an old haberdashery in a large city. I went in and tried to describe what I was looking for and wasn't having too much luck. I asked the old gentleman if he knew what a pork pie was and he said wait here. He went into the back of the store for a while and came out with one. Said he haden't had call for one in a long while. 'Never get rid of anything, it will eventually come back into style.' Try some of the really old mens' stores in the larger cities. Good luck.

Dean, this thread is years old.. i'm sure htey will of found a hat somewhere within the last 6 years

sorry my friend, they are definately Fedora's.
Besides Pork-pie hat are usually rounded at the top of the crown where fedora's are more egg-shaped.
Basically a fedora is a trilby with a brim that isn't upturned at the back.
