I've just been reading The Lives Of John Lennon and it mentions some of John's first wife's family owned a hair salon in the sixtys with this name. Just wondering if anyone knows where Landis or Akyroyd got this name. Hey Vinnie, you ever heard of such a place. I was in near Burlington, NC (usa) and saw one there a few years ago.

There are actually a number of places with this name. It's not clear which came first - the movie, or the salons!

I like to think a lot of people have been inspired by the movie, though.
