How cool would it be to have a fanart section on this site. Man I would love to see more Blues Brothers artwork. It could also inspire others who dont usually draw to go all out and get creative.

Man that is so cool, but how are we supposed to get the site admins to start something like that. I would love to see your drawings so if you get the chance you should post them like I did.

The site admins already know about it, and we're planning on adding this feature to the site.
I'm sure anyone who regularly visits Blues Brothers Central knows about the long delays in getting things done and new features added.
It's something we really can't do much about. Running this site takes a lot of time and it's starting to get too large to manage.

Here is a list of our current and upcoming projects:
1) Transfer BB Central to a new website host (In Progress)
2) Build a guide to buying Blues Brothers merchandise on eBay (In Progress)
3) Build a section dedicated to tribute bands around the world (In Progress)
4) Build a section dedicated to Bluesmobiles around the world (In Progress)
5) Link the above two sections
6) Build a fanart section
7) Finish biographies of band members

9) Add more multimedia content (We may have up to 800MB soon)

This is a lot of work, and will take some time. I could easily run this site full time, but I do have to earn a living as well.

Please note there is a difference between administrators and developers.
Administrators are here to approve forum posts and answer questions on the forum.
Developers are here to add new features and content to the site, as well as post news, write newsletters, add gigs, upload multimedia/photos, research past gigs, pay for competitions, answer hundreds of emails a week and as many forum posts as possible.

In a past newsletter I asked if anyone wanted to join the development team, but I didn't get any replies. I'm looking for HTML/PHP/MySQL programmers, graphic designers, artists, article writers, lyrics transcribers, and researchers.

If I can't get any help with this, then Blues Brothers Central will close in July.

I tip my hat to you bbcentral. I had no idea you were running this show by yourself. There has got to be SOMETHING some of us can do to keep this site going. July is not too far away people!!! IF bbcentral DOESN'T GET SOME HELP, WE MAY BE OUT OF THE COOLEST TRIBUTE SITE IN THE WORLD.... EVER!!!

Chris: I'll talk to you about this next time I see you online, but I'd be willing to help out with you/the development team. I wasn't registered for the newsletter, so I didn't know you needed help! I can help with whatever you need a graphic designer, artist, article writer, and whatever for. I also know quite a bit of HTML, but that's about it as far as page design goes.
