ChAnOoD, I'm not sure what you're saying. You have a Spanish version of SNL? This is something that Lorne Michaels is making a profit from?

They also have a bad monolog from the host, and they invited 2 (crappy) "music" "stars" to do some stupid things and play.
I didn´t care to much about the whole thing, but I almost cried when I see the presentation of the show (right after "live from NY..." in your country) because I was watching the same kind of intro for the show (famous buildings and streets, skylines, the same SNL font...)

Oh ... wow. I thought it was going to be fresh stuff in a different country. This, to me, sounds kind of crazy. So the Spanish "SNL" is just going to re-create skits from old SNL shows? Dang. That seems strange.
They are clearly picking up on some of the funnier skits. "Cowbell" with Christopher Walken, Farley on the game show ... these were some of the best ever. Dana Carvey with the pepper ... so funny the first time I saw it.
This seems kinda weird to me. Is Lorne gonna sell out to every country? Cripes.
Thanks for the updates, ChAnOoD. I find this very interesting.

A recent example would be "The Office," which started in the UK. But as far as I know they aren't re-doing the UK scripts, it's new stuff for the American market.
Well, it's still interesting. It makes me wonder that if the ratings are decent in Spain, will Lorne be selling the old skit scripts to every country in the world? I suppose the writers don't mind. I figure they'd be receiving some royalty money from this.
Please keep us up to date on this stuff, ChAnOoD. Thanks.

I find funny how the people of the spanish SNL send me a comment in the last post I did about the program in my blog. I got 5 posts about the spanish SNL (all bad), and in the last I got this:
Hola, me gustaria hacer un intercambio de links con tu blog.
Un saludo
Saturday Night Live
That means:
Hi, I´d like to have a link interchange * with your blog.
Greetings

* I´m not sure if that´s the correct way to say that, but I think you´ll understand it.
So, I´m saying that the show was bad and they want to share my blog´s address in theirs!
