do you mean the movie 'Ray' ? I am looking forward to seeing that, apparently it's absolutely brilliant

I've seen 'Ray' and it is absolutely brilliant. It just got six Oscar nominations and deserves every one. Throughout the movie I had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't Ray I was watching - Jamie Foxx was so convincing. And he played all his own piano too. That guy deserves every award going. See it even if you're not a big Ray fan.

If by "tribute" you're referring to the movie Ray, then yes - I went to see that twice in theatres. It was fabulously done, Jamie Foxx put on a stellar performance. As Blues_Sister said, it definitely deserves every award that it was nominated for!
