Let's hope Bob brushes his teeth...
(The man's a musical legend, but I think by now everyone should know what I think of his harp playinghttp://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum2/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_cool.gif)

I have to say, if I had that kind of money to spend freely, then this is a hell of an investment. I can't see these losing value. The way things are going... oil, property, shares, pension funds... forget them all - invest in Bob Dylan's, fully authenticated, dried spit!

We didn't say it wasn't nice Syd, just kidding about the amount.
What would you do with USD 25,000 ? except buying that set of harps (very lovely stuff by the way).

Wow, I almost blew coffee out my nose when I saw that price tag! There is a difference between owning something a famous person once owned and one that he touched briefly and then sold, since they are not advertised as harps he played in concert or owned. Personally, I would only buy a set he actually owned. I think he played each one of the models in the box of harps, signed his name on them to sell for someone else like the company that made them. I do not think he owned them and that is what makes a lot of difference when you purchase collections owned by famous people. Dylan's signature collection is sort of a 'tourist trap', if you know what I mean? It is a limited edition and it will go up in value but I don't know how long a person would have to own them before they catch on as a desired collection. They are a rich man's collection.
