Hey everybody

Spotted this on eBay and thought it of interest.

It's a die-cast of the Bluesmobile from the 1980's.

I've not seen one of these around before and was wondering if anyone else has.. or even own one?

I have a few 1/64 die-casts in the collection but not with this packaging.

Besides the attention to detail on the car itself isn't the best.. where is the P1 on the door?? etc etc!!

Here is the link if you fancy bidding.. but be warned.. it's expensive!

also check out the number of views it's had!

All the best

Whoa, EUR 99.99 (about USD 150.00) for a not so good replica ? That's too much.

That's a funny little Bluesmobile. That package and car would be a great collector item but I gotta agree about the price, that's crazy expensive.

We used to have a few of these, and I believe I still have one boxed away somewhere... but I couldn't swear to it after so many moves. You're right though, the detail is very lacking compared to the Johnny Lightning cars but at the time it's all that was available, and it was a fun little model.

This item was my first piece. I bought it at a flea market in Hollis NH. Paid about $25.00 for it in 1994? While it was kinda crude compared to what we hav now, it was better that nothing.. Still in my Display case along with the rest of the stuff..

It is a rare little car.

Here's one on craigslist for $75 ...

1980 1/64 Ertl BluesBrothers Car

:(

If you can't find one of those, and can't find the 1998 Johnny Lightning Bluesmobile ...

And you really wanted to build a tribute Bluesmobile in 1:64 scale , you could start with Enos' car from a 2008 Johnny Lightning run. Only $4 bucks.
