The Bluzmen are the best Blues Brothers I have ever seen. They have been hard at work for over 20 years, they have been all over the world and still going strong. I'm sure you are good also, but these guys really work hard and enjoy being the best and ultimate Blues Brothers tribute band! Long live the Bluzmen rein as Elwood and Jake!:BB:

I got to say, that Eric Martin & Carmen Romano are really good however so are Da Blooze Bros, Jake & Elwood, The Official Chicago Blues Brothers and a number of other shows.
It takes a lot of hard work and practice for us to be able to deliver an entertaining product - after all isn't that what the essence of the Blues Brothers is all about?
Whether you do it one way or another, you cannot cater to every expectation of a potential audience.
It's great we do it differently, with the same enthusiasm and make it as entertaining as possible. That way, collectively, we CAN please everybody!!

Eric and Carmen have worked hard for over 20 years and have not only perfected Elwood and Jake but they make it look good! They have even got the seal of approval from Dan Aykroyd. Check out their website and see all the accolade and respect they have earned. The Bluzmen Staring Eric Martin and Carmen Romano The Ultimate Tribute to the Blues Brothers

Hi Sheilar,
I honestly do think that you need to calm down!
No one is disputing that The BluzMen are anything but great.
However, to discount the fact that there are other equally hard working Blues Brothers shows/bands/outfits all around the world is delusional.
I have no doubt that you are an ardent Fan of The BluzMen and as such, your loyalty is admirable. In your self induced enthusiasm, please do not show contempt to all the other shows that are equally hard working, professional, entertaining and gig a lot more.
Sheilar, chill, enjoy the music and essence that we all do and have a good day!

I would never want to give anyone the idea that I don't give you and the others credit for what you do, you must be good to still be around for as long as you have been, I just think that the Bluzmen should not be given the credit as just another Blues Brothers Tribute band. :BB:

Hi Sheilar,
Every single person involved in a production / show / duo that has anything to do with The Blues Brothers has to come to terms with the fact that we all are tributes to Dan Aykroyd & John Belushi - The Blues Brothers.
There are, however, differing levels of commitment to the craft. Some do it only for fun, and that's fine, whereas others do it professionally. We all universally enjoy and embrace the ethos of the 'originals'.
With regard to The Bluzmen, I would like to reiterate that they are very good, however so are quite a few other productions - as mentioned in my earlier posts. What in your opinion differentiates The Bluzmen into not being 'just another tribute'?
Entertainment value? Well, check out some of the youtube clips of the other shows(some of whom have posted on this thread).
Attention to detail? Check out Elwoodpool's Dan Aykroyd.
Showmanship? We all have that in varying amounts.
Quality of the band? We all profess to have the best band around - that's being human and protective!
Sheilar, the crux of the situation is that The Bluzmen are a terrific TRIBUTE to The blues Brothers - one of many.
Regards,
PETE
