I live 8 miles from the Joliet Prison and with summer contruction there is a detour that now goes right past the prison on Collins Street in Joliet. I've driven though there at least 50 times, but I noticed something for the first time yesterday.
Only about a half a mile from the jail is a street called "Elwood Street".
Cool!

I visited the prison a while back and I noticed that street too...in fact, I took a pic of the sign!
