Hey all,

Ive been down at the Pier for a few years now, but a while back a Friend & Carpenter down there named John had told me that when he started out in the Union he worked for a company that helped build movie sets. I thought it was cool when he had told me about his work on the Blues Brothers, but never thought it worth mentioning till he showed me this....

He had been off for a while due to an injury, God Speed his recovery!! Lord Knows Beer aint helping him!
But while off he was tossing alot of old paperwork and seen this!
He knew right away to let me see it!! Totaly blew my mind! Here's actual paper proof! I did beleive him of cousre but something tangible made it so much cooler!

Hopefully John will join us here I did tell him about the site, he has a great story on the old guy who got to haul the cars from the "Jake I gotta pull over" bit!

Cheers!

john

Amazing! Definitely one of the most interesting pieces of paper to ever grace this site, that I've seen. ChiTown, if you could get John here to share some stories that would be incredible. Thanks for that pic, man!

:)

It looks like he worked through lunch that last day.

Don't let the BA see that. :BB:

I'm guessing 3:30-4:30 was OT, and 4:30 to 5:00 was DT.

It's a little different today, but the rules have been changed many times in
the past 30 years.

What were we talking about?... something about a ramp, right? :BB:
