I went to the Massey Hall show and it was awesome... If you go to The Downchild Blues Band - 40th Anniversary · CBC Radio 2 - Concerts On Demand

you can listen to the entire show. Enjoy!! My buddy and I dressed as Elwood and Jake and it was a blast!!

Well, I have a "new" pic in the suit. It was taken in May, 11th. I was in the Barcelona Comic Con promoting our fanzine, and last day I came this way.

Lookin' good! We just finished assembling a new suit for Buster, he's long outgrown his old one and we're off to a Trek convention in Baltimore this weekend with the suits and the Bluesmobile.

First we're proud of his shades, he needed some prescription shades now and regular Ray Bans are still a bit too big (wide and long) for his head. Day to day he wears some very cheap novelty Wayfarer knock-offs (I bought a box of 20 of them for $20 a couple of years ago!), cheap plastic frames but they look good on him and fit him well.

So our local optometrist was actually able to use a pair of THOSE and insert real deal prescription lenses. She did break the first frame she tried, so I just dug in the box and gave her another... worked great and they fit great! Buster loves them and here's the result:

And here's the full new suit (jacket courtesy of eBay, tie the hand-made tie I first wore about 29 years ago!:
