I really think they should make a Best of for billy He's one of the great originals and as I'm sure you guys know he's funny as hell. He got up in front of the SNL audience it was classic and it's said that while he was preparing for where the buffalo Roam he acted like Hunter Thompson around the other guys

anyway he's done a lot of classic stuff he deserves a best of

Let's turn this into an activity:
What would you include on a Best of Bill Murray DVD?

I couldn't agree with you more, Elwood. I e-mailed NBC to ask about this oversight. Got their standard crap in return.

Thanks for your email. NBC values your comments, but unfortunately, due to the volume of emails we receive, we cannot respond to each one. Please check our FAQ section to see if your question is answered there:

They then had the unmitigated gall to ask me take a survey. To which I responded ...

I would be glad to take your survey, if you could just answer my incredibly simple question. Will there be a "Best of Bill Murray" released in the future?

They never got back to me. Just look at how many "Best Of's" there are ...

Right off the bat the Lounge Singer doing the Star Wars stuff. Any skit with Todd and Lisa, as well.

Great way to rework a thread, Scott!

Honestly, aside from the Todd & Lisa sketches, I can't remember much of Bill Murray's work on SNL. It's a shame, of course, since he is a funny guy. It's one of those situations where you can't find the old skits on Youtube either, so how does one refresh their memories?

Grumble.

Looking over that list though.... Will Ferrell gets Two Volumes? And Bill Murray none? Now, that's not nice...

There's a lot of the old stuff on VHS available at Amazon.

From that link you can find other stuff. That's Vol. 1 of a five volume set. I have Vol. 5 with a different style of box art.

I just watched it again and there's two bits with Bill that would be worthy of a "Best Of."

Sorry for the crappy screen "snaps."

Check this link to refresh your memory about other characters and impressions Bill did in his 4 seasons.

Absolutely. Once again I am in full agreement with you, Elwood. Bill also did Weekend Update in his last two seasons. At least two of those should be included as well. I'm still digging around for some old stuff I taped from TV repeats. I found a Weekend Update where Bill predicts the Oscar winners. Very funny stuff. (Another poor quality screen snap.:BB:)

I've never really watched his skits but from what you guys have posted it looks like he should indeed have one.
