A new fanfiction is going up.

False Witness
by Jo Z. Pierce

WIthout Jake, without the band, and without somebody to love, Elwood takes to the road to see America. On the way, he has a few encounters with the unexpected:
  • Elvis?
  • UFOs?
  • JFK?
  • Billy the Kid?
  • FBI Agents!
  • High speed car chases!
  • And even a barfight or two!
Warnings:
This will have strong language and some sex.
It is the second part of my Mary Sue, BUT THIS PART IS NOT A SUE! It can be read alone.

So enjoy!

Well, just one chapter is up so far....

**looks around sheepishly**

Maybe that was too much of a build-up?

:BB:

It will be there whenever people get a chance. Feedback is always welcome. You know, like Elwood says..... how about some constructive criticism?

;)

Ok. I have Chapters 1-6 up! (I changed the name slightly)

Letters from Elwood: False Witness
by Jo Z. Pierce

Rated T or M for strong language and some sexual situation.

If anyone feels like offering some feedback, it would be great! Sort of writing in a vaccuum.

Elwood: "How about some constructive criticism?"

Vinnie? Where are you?

Well, I finally finished this story. Some things changed from the original description. Sorry. No Billy the Kid.

Letters from Elwood: False Witness

It's just Elwood, the Caddy, and lots of time to think...

All alone, Elwood takes to the road to see the United States of America. Can be read as a stand alone, or as Part II in "Letters from Elwood."

Rated R for Language and some sexual themes.

It's also cross posted on Fanlib.com, for anyone who visits that site.

I really enjoyed the story, I've been following along since the beginning. I think it was a great idea to have Elwood take a roadtrip.

I am sorry if this sounds like a shameless self-promotion....

Then again, that's what a section to advertise your own fan fiction automatically implies, doesn't it.

Today is the anniversary of the assassination of the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. I thought it would be fitting direct people to a chapter of one of my BB fics that pays tribute to this great man.

The chapter is called "Rememberance."

It's chapter 8 of my story. Read through it to the end of the chapter. It's not obvious at first.

Peace.

Ok. Small brag.

This chapter (the same one from above) is up for a writing contest on Fanlib.com.

Remembering King
by Jo Pierce
Elwood Blues visits Memphis, Tennessee and pays tribute to a great man.

Another brag.

The chapter, above, was in a 4 way tie. So there was a tie breaker round.

Here's my entry.

Postmarked Memphis, Tennessee
by Jo Z Pierce

It's Curtis' reaction when he gets Elwood's postcard.

By the way. It won. My Blues Brothers fic is going to be specifically promoted on Fanlib.com.

(Um, and Blue, there is a short story about nomads up on the site, too.)

Oh i only just found these fanfics - it never occurred to me that there would be many BB fics out there. So i spent yesterday reading pretty much everything while i was sick in bed .Your stories are great, i like your writing style and your humour. Do you plan on finishing the 3rd instalment?
Doesn't seem to be much happening in the way of BB fiction since 2008 ;), maybe i need to get writing.

Thanks for the feedback! Like I mentioned in the other post I just made, I am sorry that I haven't gotten back to finishing this. It's all in my head, but it takes a lot of time to actually write it out. (And at this point, I barely have time to write posts on this forum, let alone fanfic!)
