[Vinnie Blues]

I posted a new fanfic story on both FF.net and FanLib.com.

Kin Attraction is the name.

It's the sequel to Blood Kin - so it may be a bit weird to read if you haven't read Blood Kin first.

There will be a 3rd (and last !) installment to this 'Kin' series, yet to be written, but already well set in my mind.

I recommend you read from FanLib.com. I've posted two interesting links at the end of the story but FF.net didn't let them show... they explain many a thing that happens in the story.

Sorry for the late reply. I read both installments yesterday. I liked some of your ideas on Elwood's mother; mine were not very well thought out when I wrote "Blues to the Future". (It was more an attempt to crossover two fics in the shortest amount of time possible.)

The second installment was definitely a roller coaster ride, but I had a tough time buying into the premise of the twin sister.

Based on what I read in the first two installments, I think I know what the third one is going to be about already...

I would be happy to read your "Blues to the Future" - you may PM me the story, that is if you want to. I'm an avid BB fanfic reader !

Oh, man, Vinnie... sorry I didn't comment here. I left a review there, but didn't here.

Hey, it's a rollercoaster ride of family twists. Fun and exciting, and you never know where things are going to turn. I personally was a little surprised by a few of the plot turns you made. (Maybe I ain't as smart as Scott be on these things, ya'know?)

But everyone, well worth the read...

Thanks for the link. Just been there to read your story and I found it very good. I loved the way it ended... very in line with what Elwood would have said.

It reminded me the atmosphere at Mrs Tarantino and was expecting "Are you a policeman ?" But the way you put it was in the same spirit and Elwood's reply was great.

What a cliffhanger ! A sequel would be great but at the same time, it's very good as such. Real nice story, you should post it on FF.net or FanLib.com - it sure deserves to be there !

You could do the same for Jake, coming back to check on his mother a few days before she dies giving birth to him. But apparently you set your Elwood story after Jake's death. I would suggest that you change when the action takes place before Jake's demise, if you intend posting it on a fanfic site, so that you may integrate another chapter involving Jake too.
