Nov. 17 is indeed Brian Williams with musical guest, Feist.

Word on the street is that they did do a new show, but only the live audience got to see it. It wasn't recorded or broadcast.

They did it downtown at the Upright Citizen's Brigade theater. (Amy Poheler is a UCB member) Tickets were $10 bucks and benefitted the WGA Strike Fund. Since it wasn't for broadcast they could writer whatever they want.

Sorry, thought it was common knowledge. It was all over the strike coverage.

Here's AintItCoolNews's writeup.

I'm really starting to miss fresh shows. Last week was Jake Gyllenhaal. It wasn't that good. I think my biggest laugh was Trump (Hammond) taking relentless shots at Rosie. Funny ... but dated.

Last night was the best of Tracy Morgan. It was ok. Brian Fellow's Safari Planet cracks me up. "That bird is trying to order a stereo with my credit card." LOL. The theme song for Astronaut Jones is excellent! I've always loved that. I would have ended the best of Tracy Morgan with his last skit on SNL, which was an Astronaut Jones skit. Him and Maya break character, totally unexpected ... hilarious. The host was also in that skit.

*SNL Trivia* Who was the host for Tracy Morgan's last SNL show? -hint- It was also Chris Kattan's last show.

Well, the writers strike may be over very soon. I hope so, just for some new SNL! They're showing the Brian Williams re-run tonight ... AGAIN! So if you missed it the first two times, here's another chance.
