Hey lets have a Blues Mobile group shot.. How many Monaco's and Crown Vics are on the East Coast??? Wouldn't that be cool????

Let's get together with all the Bluesmobiles we can find and create an event! We may be surprised how many people we can pull in. I had good luck at a local car show. Virginia is a good spot to rally.

We can schedule it for next summer and have the beach right and ready for us, although, the hotel fees would be killer for everyone because of the season rates probably...

I think there is room in this world for more than one Bluesmobile gathering. It can start with an east coast meet-up in Virginia, hopefully to be followed by more in other places. Some people will attend more than one, others will only attend one.

There are a few options that we can go for, as far as a Bluesmobile reunion or gathering. We can try to work an arrangement with an HOB location, like Atlantic City, NJ or Myrtle Beach, SC. Maybe they would like the idea and promote it with a good band, hotel tie in etc. I live in a rural area of VA and may be able to tie in with an event that is already planned so we could add to the festivities. The question may be how to be able to hire a band that we would be a good fit for our group. And other activites like a car show, poker run , movie showings,memorabilia sales & swaps. Let's think how much each owner would want to invest in getting cars to the location and what else we want to happen when we get there. Let's get ideas for location and figure where we all have to come from, and how many are there of us.

(1.) Yeah! They might!!!! Perhaps we could tell them it's the biggest Blues Brothers event on the East Coast incorporating both movies! They could put it on their calender of events and indeed, get us a break on lodgings...

(2.) We are the entertainment. Alabama Blues Brothers has an act for one...

There is some good dialogue going on to bring as many Bluesmobiles (both movies) and anything else we would love to see together for some sort of event. Let's see what ideas we can come up with. We need location, event happenings etc. As a Bluesmobile owner and BB fan I think it could be a great event. We have performers that could put on shows, the Bluesmobiles and a network of BB fans. Put the word on the streets!

That sounds like a great idea, I do not own a Bluesmobile but my friend who is a fan has a 72 Chrysler NewYorker, which is as close to us having as Bluesmobile as we can get but we would love to bring it depemding on location and time. Keep me posted if this thing comes together.

I am with you Billwood let's just get something rolling, anywhere is fine with me, although my first vote would be ChiTown, but I don't car if it is BFE I just think it would be fun! Like I said before I will help anyway I can. We could try to contact Dan Aykroyd and see if he would be interested to participate in such a thing. But we have to be careful, I have heard of several events, business ideas and web sites get shut down or sued that the powers that be didn't like or thought that they were infringing on certain rights etc etc.

No since going into details, don't want to ruffle any feathers. But I know how everyone likes to protect their image, and property rights.

Anyway I hope that would not be a problem for us, you wouldn't think so since it only would put more money in the coffers, so to speak. Especially if they were involved. Oh well I a have rambled enough. I guess the first thing we need to do is find a suitable place and then go from there. We will get this done one way or the other.

This will be complicated just like everything these days. I hope that some of us can figure out what we want to do and how to get it done. It would be nice if Mr. Aykroyd ,HOB and all the the others involved could see some value in a gathering of BM and BB fans. Are there official fan clubs or other groups that could be interested? It would be nice to be invited by a group that wants to see what we have to offer. ( cars, etc.)
