In this month's Modern Drummer, there are several pro drummers listed with comments regarding timing and performing with others. Nashville studio legend drummer Eddie Bayers states, "With R&B, such as when I work with Steve Cropper, he always mentions putting the beat on the 'bacon side'."

Bacon side....I like that!:(
