How Do We See the Best of Our Boys?

I of course have my handful of favorites, and they all have "The Best of [JOHN DOE]" DVDs, but I worry that watching just the best means I'll miss out on a lot of other moments that they appeared on SNL.
My friend recently got "The Best of John Belushi" and we're gonna watch it together, but I wonder, "what skits didn't they put in there?"

I've got a couple of Best of DVDs. Another good one is the 25th Anniversary one, that's great if you want an overall view of the series, or to introduce someone to the show for the first time ("oh wow, I didn't know (insert name) was on this show!").
I would like to get the first season of SNL, but I don't think I'll ever collect anything beyond the Belushi/Aykroyd era. The rest of the stuff I can either get in Best of DVDs, or if I really must, on the internet.
This is the ultimate, most useful SNL site you'll ever find:

I'm sure it will come in handy!

And on the Best of Darrell Hammond on TV, I like his Hardball skits. But I really hoped they included a Hardball skit with Zell Miller (Will Forte), but NOoooo...I can't even remember if they included a Hardball skit.
So seasons are better, cause you make up your own conclusions about the best of (fill name's) work by seeing it all.
joking, of course.

Good point. Seeing it all will give it's intended flavor. >:3

The seasons for Belushi and Aykroyd are 1975-1979 as for Murray he started in 1976-1980. If you are looking for more of Belushi and Aykroyd try Gilda Radner's best of or Steve Martin's. The 25th Anniversary is excellent.
Syd is Zell Miller the guy who gets bright red... that is an awesome character. I like Will Forte.
Well I hope this helps.

Parnell was going down in my opinion anyways. I like him, but he lost it. I like everyone but Samberg. I think I like 3-4 sketches he did. EVER!

Did you watch the season finale? It was with Zach Braff and I thought it was horrible. All they had him talk about was New Jersey and the movie Garden State. Ah I just hope they made some changes for this year. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

I thought it was horrible too. I don't like Zach Braff (Scrubs is ok in smal doses), I HATED Garden State (which, lucky me, is one of my gf's favs.) They better make some changes. I want them to get rid off Samberg but since he's in mags and movies, nope. More Hader Scarface stuff!
joking, of course.

It just took them so long to get season one out, that getting all 20+ years out would be phemonal. I think by Xmas, maybe season 2 would be out. But don't quote me.
