To: All Blues Brothers Central Members

In order to boost activity here, and to keep things running smoothly, I have now implemented a Reminder Email system for inactive members.

If you have not logged into the site in 30 days, you will receive a friendly reminder email to come back.
If you do not login within the next 30 days after that (60 days inactivity total), and you have never made a post on the forum, then your account may be deleted permanently.

If you have made at least one post, you will continue to receive reminder emails every 30 days until you either login or you request the deletion of your account.

Please note: Your account will not be deleted if you have ever made a post on the forum, unless you specifically ask for it to be deleted

I have emailed all members who have not logged in for the last 30 days, you should receive it within the next 24 hours if not already. If you have definitely not logged in for over 30 days, and the email did not arrive, then you may need to login and update your account. If there are any problems please contact me via the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the forum.

If you would like to make a post to stop your account from being deleted, you are welcome to post an introduction here:

To check your post count, click "User CP" in the top menu, and click on "My Profile". It will show you the "Total Posts" you have made.

If your post count is 0, you will be deleted unless you login every 60 days.
If your post count is 1 or higher, you will be sent a reminder email every 30 days but you will NEVER BE DELETED.

Well this certainly seems to be working

Total members that have visited the forum in the last 24 hours:
Saturday: 48
Sunday: 53
Monday: 251

I've also had over 1000 emails bounce back to me, so there's 1000 people we can delete right away (most will never have posted, probably quite a few spammers who were never deleted too).

Plus around 15 people have replied and ask to be unsubscribed, which is good because I don't want to waste time emailing them newsletters in future

It's going very well so far :D
