looking for a place I can buy Tombo folk blues, ultimo and aero reed harmonicas. Must be english speaking. I went to the tombo site but ordering is in japanese others sources I found were foriegn language or extremely expensive compared to the japanese site $15 to 50 dollars more. Anyone know of such a site please let me know. I'm in california, usa. They don't sell them over here. thanks

Try here:
http://www.harmonicas-direct.co.uk/diatonics/diatonics.html#tombo
UK based online store - very good service too, I've used them several times. Run by a very helpful guy and I'm sure will help you with any queries. Watch that exchange rate though - ouch!

Yes, Lee Oskars are built by Tombo. I think the LOs are the only Tombo harps easily available in the States, dunno why.

Not true Chris,
Tombo still make a wide range including the Folk Blues, Folk Blues MkII, Ultimo and Aero Reed. They also make a range of chromatic, orchestral, and tremolo harmonicas. As far as I know, only the diatonics are available in Europe, although compared with the Lee Oskar Tombos they are pretty hard to find (probably due to some clause in the deal with Lee Oskar). In the UK you can get them from Harmonicas Direct - I posted the link above.
