I've been a little out of the loop for a while. Who can tell me when Duck stoped playing with the BBB? Is he playing at all these days, or is he too ill all together?
Also, how is matt doing? Anyone know? Did the benefit they held after his stroke help much with his medical bills?
I'm bummed I've never seen Matt live. At least I got to see the MG's in 1999. I hope both of these guys get a chance to keep playing.

Duck is fine. He is still playin just not with the blues brothers anymore. He played in new york with Booker T and Mgs on Oct 14th. He's 64 years old but fine.

The other day I emailed a guy by the name of Brad Dunn. I was hopeing to get info about Duck. He responded. Heres what he said.
Thanks for the kind words. Duck is my uncle, my dads brother. He is
basically retired but does get out to play from time to time for
special functions and to perform with Booker T and the MGs. They just
last month played a couple of shows, one at BB Kings in NY and another
at a festival in Delaware. He is available for projects at the studio
based on his availability and the quality of the projects.
You can stay in touch with us from time to time and if we get infomation
on upcoming shows I will try to drop you an email.
Thanks again,
Brad Dunn
I was so happy to finally contact someone close to Duck. His nephew, Wow isnt that great! I had to share this with everyone just so we all know for sure that our info about duck is true. If I hear any more I will post.

OK guys here is what I know about Matt Murphy I know he had a stroke in what 2001? After Blues Brothers 2000 was made. From what I hear he can't play guitar anymore. What I do hear is that he loves to hear from fans I have an address for him.
Matt Murphy/Roesch Records
PO Box 1002
Darien,CT 06820
I sent him a card about a month ago and it never came back so I guess the post office box is still active.
