Hello

I found and bought a Blues Brothers compilation cd, that is not on the site's database.
It's called "The Very Best of the Blues Brothers", and I thought it was odd, because it wasn't even listed in the database as bootleg.
It seems to be a compilation made by "East West France" in 1995. It has songs taken from all the other albuns, and not even properly arranged, because Soul man for example starts with Jake saying "I suggest you buy as many blues albuns as you can". (I Don't Know)
Here's a link where I found it, on Amazon of France:
http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004UPL5/402-2477897-3365724

I hope I just made a contribution to enrich the content of this great site that has taught me so much of the Blues Brothers already. :)

Forgive my feeling of disappointment... but I thought the site hosted and listed all Blues Brothers content... not just american Blues Brothers content...

Neo, fear not.

As much as I've seen so far, it seems that the site caretaker, Chris, is very thorough and I doubt he would overlook a Blues Brothers album just because it's from another country. Anyway, if you give him some time I have little doubt he'll add it to the database. :)

... But, I could be wrong.
Live like Elvis, drive like Elwood.

I'll try to remember to add it when I get some time.
I'm busy working on the next version of the website at the moment. I'll see if I can add the album before I launch the new site.

I didn't know there was going to be a new version of the website soon, so that is also great news for all of us :D

Keep up the great work! Blues Brothers fans from all over the world are rooting for you! :)

The Blues Brothers "Definitive Collection" is by far the best concert album I've ever heard. Buy it and I promise you won't be sorry!!

Which one have you got? There are a few variations:

This one...

The Definitive Collection Version #1

Posted Imagewhich is a one disc CD and has 20 tracks

Or this one...

The Definitive Collection Version #2

Posted Imagewhich is a 2 disc edition with 35 tracks on it

And there is also this one:

The Complete Collection

Posted Image

Although it has a different cover & name , this 2 disc version has the identical track listing to the Definitive Collection Version #2.

I am lucky... I own all 3 versions
(even though all the tracks are the same - as a completist I needed the different packaging!)
Those were the days when I had more money then sense!!

Although I'm a collector, I tend to only buy albums that have tracks I don't already own. That's why I bought BB Complete, because I didn't have that bonus track.

I did something similar, but first i bought the Complete album and later the Briefcase and Made in America, to hear "the complete concert" with intros, speeches and things like that. http://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum2/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_razz.gif

I got it. It's the only they sell out this way (VA). I can't find anything else in Best Buy or any place else I've looked.
