I like both! I like Apple because of all of its features. It has IMovie and IChat and IPhoto. But, I have microsoft and it's pretty good. With Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Player. It doesn't matter I perfer Apple, but microsoft isn't bad.

I love my Apple computer. I have the MacBook Pro 15.4". I got it for school. After I got used to the keys I fell in love.

I've always been a Microsoft guy, but Apple has been steadily improving since OSX. I'll never jump ship or anything, but I would love to be able to have both.

Actually, I greatly dislike iPods. Come to think of it, I greatly dislike most people who use iPods. There are MP3s out there that are just so much better, and less expensive too. Why buy an iPod except to be a sheep?

I've never really used Apple computers much myself, so I can't really comment.

I prefer iRiver over iPod, mainly because you don't need to install any extra software to copy your music across.
I mainly use MS Windows, however Apple OS X does have a few strong points. For starters, because it's not as common the risk of viruses and spyware is much lower. Also, it's apparently the best OS for doing graphic design and video editing.

But I'm not ready to throw away that kind of money for something which I really don't need.

I have an iPod. My other mp3 player didn't work on my Mac so I got one for Christmas.

Linux! :3

(Come on, you had to see that coming =P)

To be honest, all OSes have their upsides and downsides. Mac is extremely expensive, Microsoft crashes, and Linux -- whether they want to admit it or not -- is STILL built for techies first and foremost.

Apple makes a good product. I cut my teeth (metaphorically) on an Apple Macintosh at age 4. I loved using iMovie back in my high school media class, and would love to have it again if I ever delved back into video production.

Still, I have to go with anything that runs Windows, as its easier and cheaper. You can do tweaks to make it break/lag/etc. less, and I'm generally happy with it. I even got a Zune rather than an iPod, and I'm also happy with it.

*giggle* I was raised on an Atari ST. I was three years old when we got it.

We also eventually got Windows. Dad had a 3.1. machine for quite some time, before we got 95, then 98SE.

98 lasted us for YEARS. It was only a couple of years ago that we finally got with the times and got a Vista machine -- and it was out of necessity, after our 98 machine FINALLY died.

I ran on the old Mac, then an IBM with Win3.1 until 5th grade, then Windows95 until my midway through freshman year, then Win98, and still on XP. I have yet to see anything to talk me into Vista this soon.

IMO each has their place. For business apps and database production it's the Microsoft/PC platform. For graphics, video & sound processing it's the Apple patform.

Such as....??

Anyway, I took a huge gamble after Christmas 2007 and bought a MacBook. I had very little experience with Mac, and it was mostly with the "classic" OS that ran on the Motorola 680x0 series processors. I had little-to-no experience with the next generation of Mac that used PowerPC processors (such as the original iMac). But when I got the MacBook home, I was hooked instantly. It was nice to have a computer that booted in seconds instead of a few dozen minutes. I think my wife puts it best: "It just works."

Microsoft definitely i wanted to shoot my computer until i got windows xp and it was sweet relief to have something tell you what the problem is instead of saying crap like "error 12473823982380349-8346-4690865703255*^*^%*()8934802370349762387329674379843875324784676675456867@#$%^&" for something simple

I've always been a Windows user so I'll go with Microsoft. Perhaps one day I'll try the macs but they don't really call much of my attention. We used to use them in Elementary school and Middle school and they were a bit of a pain to use.

The iPods are great though.
