What brand, model, and year is the one he plays in the movie? I don't play giutar myself but someone wanted to know.

i do not know the year but if the film was made in 79/80 it at least has to be in thoose years, as for the model its a gibson sg. the same kind that angus young of ac/dc plays. and carlos santana

heres another one, tony ioni(?) of black sabbath he has a real cool custom black and gold one, besides the red . go to the gibson gutair site they can give you lots of info on that model

Matt's common guitar was a 1967 Gibson SG. That was the only year Gibson used chrome grover tulips on the headstock. His other guitar (Minnie the Moocher) was an E-335 The same kind John Lee Hooker used on Maxwell Street. As for Santana, he does have a deal w/ Paul Reed Smith. I dont blame him, they are amazing guitars and I sure would like to have one.
