Hey Stlvester Stallone is bringing back my hero Rocky Balboa so I think Dan Aykroyd should bring back Elwood J. Blues for one more big screen adventure. Do you gys agree?

I agree with bringing back Elwood and the gang, but Rocky is a bad comparison to make, IMO, since there's WAY too many of those movies. Then again, I never liked Rocky anyway. :P To each his/her own.

No, it's not only you, it's me too. If there's ever a BB3 with Dan as Elwood, I think it's pretty safe to say his first choice will be to get Jim as Zee. Remaking BB2000 the way it was originally intended would be pretty cool.

I think they should bring back Elwood and others. But, the only problem between 'Rocky and 'Blues Brothers' is that Rocky is easier to bring back because they only really need one guy for the movie. Sylvester Stallone. But, Blues Brothers need Dan Aykroyd ,who is not as mobile anymore, and a whole Blues Brothers gang. That's the only problem.

What would be nice (and more easy to do) was if he apeared as Elwood in a small part in an other movie. Like he did with Ray from the Ghostbusters in Casper.
That would be much easyer to realise.

Maybe Elwood should make a cameo in Rambo4. That would make EVERYONE happy.

I totally agree with ya ElwoodJones and Scott that if they make a BB3 to disregard BB2000 and have Zee in it. I would like them to remake BB2000. I didn't like how it turned out. As a writer i would like to see a better storyline if they do BB3. Parts of BB2000 felt too sloopy and didn't have the fluidity that BB had.

Yeah, because when he gets that tennis ball back on the foot of his walker, we'll be in big trouble.

Not as mobile? WTF???

As I said in other topics, a third movie should be a concert. Pick a good ammount of bucks, put The Original Blues Bros Band (if they want, put other members that aren´t playing with them right now too), put The Sacred Hearts Band too, some musical guests and John Landis directing.

Imagine the begining, all black and the opening (Can´t Turn You Loose) starts to sound. Elwood saying something like "Good evening ladies & gentleman, we´re here tonight to celebrate the "X" anniversary of:

- the birth of the Blues Brothers
- John Belushi´s birth
- the first movie
- the Briefcase Full Of Blues album
..."

Something like "The Return of The Blues Brothers" but with the sound of the "Blues Brothers & Friends" album, and with fellow artists like Tommy "Pipes" McDonnell, Rob Paparozzi, Jonny Rosch and Eddie Floyd.

It could be a blast!

Something like "Shine a Light" or "The Last Waltz" (I haven´t seen any of those, but both have famous people behind the cameras and were made to keep the spirit of The Rolling Stones or The Band forever). It would be terrific to see a 2 or 3 hour concert with most of their hits and guests. But I´m only dreaming...
