Oooh, this is what you meant! :D

The best I can come up with is:

"Curtis got run over by a reindeer
Walkin' home from the liquor store Christmas Eve..."

Hmmm. Poor Curtis. How does that turn out? Here's one I did at work today. Hey, I guess that makes me a paid songwriter! When my friends and I encourage each other to peel out of a parking lot, stand on it, give 'er, lay some rubber etc., we yell, "Let 'er go!"

Let 'Er Go - (sung to the tune of Let It Snow)
by Steam McQueen

Oh the traffic outside is frightful
But the old 440 is so delightful
And since we've just left the show
Let 'er go! Let 'er go! Let 'er go!

The motor doesn't show signs of stopping
Those brand new plugs are really popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let 'er go! Let 'er go! Let 'er go!

When we finally throw a rod
How I'll hate all those oily drips
But if you'll really hold the Dodge
All the way home we'll do flips

Well the chase is slowly dying
And my oil pan now is surely frying
But as long as our mission says so
Let 'er go! Let 'err GO!
LET 'ER GOOOoooooooooooHer name is Rio and she dances on the sand.

I just couldn't resist that last line.http://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum2/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_cool.gif

This is my humble version of rawhide with chrsitmas lyrics... It`s not finished yet, but I think I`m doing ok. Please, use your imagination :D

Theme from Christmas (on rawhide tune)

snowin` snowin` snowin`
all that snow is falling
keep the presents going
christmas!

Give the gifts, lit the tree
Lit the tree, give the gifts
Give the gifts, lit the tree, Christmas!
Have some fun, watch the snow,
Hang those socks, sing along
Have some fun, this is my christmaaas!
:BB:Stand by your man--- ---And tell the world you love him--- ---Keep givin all the love you can-- --- Baby, stand by your man:BB:

Nearly any photo program lets you re-size things.

Got caught in the chimney
And left me a sled to ride
The sleigh flew out
I swung on behind
Crazy 'bout him, that big-bellied Santa of mine
My Santa, he's round
Great gosh almighty, my Santa's large

Excellent stuff. Christmas tunes from Rawhide and She Caught the Katy. It's making for an interesting CD. Looking forward to seeing the cover, caramal. Here's my latest.

Daniel the Red-Nosed Roller - (sung to the tune of...well you know)
by Steam McQueen

Daniel the red-nosed Roller
Had a partner named Trooper Mount
And if you ever saw them
You would say they couldn't even count

All of the other Rollers
Used to laugh at every job they'd botch
They'd always taunt poor Daniel
with, "Hey, they broke my watch"

Then one windy Chicago eve
Mercer came to say
Daniel and Mount you're not so bright
Let's go chase those Brothers tonight

Then all the Rollers loved him
As they shouted out with glee
Daniel if you catch those Brothers
You'll go down in his-toorrr-yyyy.
