Hello Everybody!!!
Here's an Italian fan who's looking for the "right hat"! I really mean it! I'm searching the net for a nice fedora, a small brimmed, tall crowned one... but I found different "theories" about the brim... In the 1980 movie is the hat brim 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 wide?
It could seem foolish, but I've already found the tortoise wayfarer and I can't wait to get the RIGHT hat!.
Can anybody help me?

As for the original movie hat, I have no idea. The best thing you can do is look on Ebay or at your local thrift store.

You may have to change the ribbon for a wider one. There are cheap horrid ones all over ebay, but the pressed felt ones feel like cardboard and look as cheap as they are.

I already checked that site but you can't see a real pic of the hat, justa a frame from the movie. And I'd rather get the hat from the first film...

Hey everyone, Elwood80 here just like to say that I too am glad that more of You out there want to be Blues Brothers. Who wouldn't? I grew my sideburns longer and picked up the harmonica because of Elwood. He's the coolest and I'm not just saying that I actually met Dan Aykroyd last december in NY. that's all for now gotta skate.
