I just saw to great movies with Steve Jordan. Both concertfilms.

1.
"Standing in the shadows of motown"
A very good movie with the motown-houseband the funk brothers. A great band. I saw them also live in Berlin with Steve Jordan, Billy Preston, Isaac Hayes and Steve Winwood. What a night.

2.
"Lightning in a bottle"
This concertfilm has just been released in the german movietheaters. It's a very big concert with BB King, Solomon Burke, Macy Gray, Buddy Gye, Maviy Staple, Keb Mo, and a endless list of legends. Steve Jordan was the band leader and he givs some great interviews too. You just got to watch the movie or get the soundtrack if you love the blues.

aww... i was in berlin from 6th to 13th og august and wondering if i should go and see "lightning in a bottle" but decided not to.
in my region it's not shown anywhere. i guess i'll have to wait for a dvd or maybe some cinema will show it in a couple of weeks.
