im not sure if this has come up in a previous topic. but i at the moment i am abit tired and put blues brothers 2000 on after watching blues brothers last night. when your tired you dont tend to pay attention as much but you notice things you miss when your awake.

if you watch when elwood first goes to Mr Gasperone's car dealership a man in a white cadilac convertable pulls up. Compared to the rest of the cars in the impounds which are damaged, and put simply could have "clean me please" all over them. this seems abit too coincidental to just be someone turning up.

is it possible this white cadilac is the cadilac mentioned by Jake when Elwood trades the caddy for a microphone and picks Jake up in a police car just as he gets out of julien.

Nope, the cadillac that Elwood traded for a microphone was black.

I wasn't aware that you ever saw the 'traded' Cadilac. It was never in the film. Did it appear on SNL?

It didn't appear anywhere. The color, year, model, and license plate number come from Blues Brothers: Private.

Actually, that white convertible is a Lincoln Continental, not a Cadillac.

And the man who parks it is Taj Mahal.

Wasn't that the same car that Murph and the MagicTones drove? I always assumed that was the original Bluesmobile and he traded them the car....

Nope, Murph's caddy was a DeVille. The original Bluesmobile was a Fleetwood.
