Dang it...they took it off! Well, you can't blame 'em...

I have it saved on my computer (along with the star trek sketch) but I don't know how else to show it here. I know NBC is a partner of Youtube, so they're obviously looking through a lot of videos and keeping an eye out for their own shows.

it is self explanatory .
it is a nbc copyright and wont allow you on it

how simpler does it have to be ?

ok to be nice i will explain ,

nbc owns it and does not want people to see it for free, or do i have to draw you a picture ?

Well, to put it in detail, "copyright" is a set of exclusive rights regulating the use of a particular expression of an idea or information. At its most general, it is literally "the right to copy" an original creation. In most cases, these rights are of limited duration. The symbol for copyright is © (Unicode U+00A9), and in some jurisdictions may alternately be written ©. Copyright may subsist in a wide range of creative, intellectual, or artistic forms or "works". These include poems, theses, plays, and other literary works, movies, choreographic works (dances, ballets, etc.), musical compositions, audio recordings, paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, software, radio and television broadcasts of live and other performances, and, in some jurisdictions, industrial designs. Copyright is a type of intellectual property; designs or industrial designs may be a separate or overlapping form of intellectual property in some jurisdictions.
Copyright law covers only the particular form or manner in which ideas or information have been manifested, the "form of material expression". It is not designed or intended to cover the actual idea, concepts, facts, styles, or techniques which may be embodied in or represented by the copyright work. Copyright law provides scope for satirical or interpretive works which themselves may be copyrighted. See idea-expression divide.
For example, the copyright which subsists in relation to a Mickey Mouse cartoon prohibits unauthorized parties from distributing copies of the cartoon or creating derivative works which copy or mimic Disney's particular anthropomorphic mouse, but does not prohibit the creation of artistic works about anthropomorphic mice in general, so long as they are sufficiently different to not be imitative of the original. Other laws may impose legal restrictions on reproduction or use where copyright does not - such as trademarks and patents.

Understand it now, Mike?

Youtube will leave videos from Mad TV and other sketch shows for months, but they remove SNL clips (and other NBC clips) within days.
There are rumours that Youtube and NBC may have some kind of business partnership one day, so I wouldn't post anything from NBC on Youtube unless you want it removed.

Yeah, I won't be uploading any more NBC clips on Youtube anymore, that's for sure. In the friendly e-mail they send me, they said "IF YOU UPLOAD ANY MORE NBC CLIPS, WE WILL SUE YOUR ASS FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT AND HAVE YOU HAULED OFF TO PRISON!" lol, but seriously, they would delete my account if I did it again.

One thing I find really sad in that video is that he puts the flowers on Dan's grave.

hahaha I know it's on there but I live in a VERY rural part of Kansas. So I was hoping I could find it on the net some place, or maybe find someone that could send it to me in a file. It seems the internet doesn't want me having it though.

It happens.

Laurel and Hardy? Abbott and Costello? Charlie Chaplain? The Comedy of William Shakespeare? And that's just my limited knowledge...

Who knows what's going to stand the test of time. Just show your kids the DVDs, and maybe....
