In the chat room, I think it was 440RULEZ that brought up the idea of converting a 97 Chevy Malibu into a Bluesmobile. I was curious, since I own the same car. I found a pic on google and tried to make it a Bluesmobile. The chat room closed before I could post the image there. Well, here is the result of the 60 minutes I wasted-

Is it the new Bluesmobile or what?



I took the speaker from Chris' computer mod concept.

I don't like it, but that's just me. Maybe somebody else does. I think an Impala would look better.

I think it looks pretty good considering how realistic it looks with the speaker taken right from the movie!

Yeah and you actually went to the trouble of cutting the speaker out right, unlike my terrible effort for that computer case mod

Chris was tired and I guess there was noone else around to pedal the dynamo, so it had to shut down quickly....

I was just about to post some Beetle Bug links for Belletrist and "whoosh" I got booted out and room closed, Dang. Actually Chris I don't get why the room can't just be on 24/7
I mean it's stealing my time, it's addicitive, it takes bandwidth and a considerable amount of cpu for a chat - but I like it!

But it wasn't me who suggested the Malibu. I forgot who it was though. But didn't you guys talk about doing it with reversed colors? Black <> White?

...maybe a pink speaker? Nah that was my thought

Doing that test run has uncovered some bugs I hadn't seen before. It got to 10:30am and I just couldn't keep awake
Sorry about that, I'll give more warning in future.
I can't let it go unmoderated, but I am considering organising some people to moderate. I'll see what happens.

Thanks. But it's only a Chevy, mind you, and not a mopar.

My car would definitely not be a Bluesmobile in terms of cleanliness. I'm a bit of a neat freak and I take care of it almost like Cameron Frye's dad treats the Ferrari! (I probably got this "freakiness" from my own Dad when he used to own a Corvette!) :lol:

But my cigarette lighter DOES work!

it would be me who suggested the Malibu Bluesmobile... to be honest.. it doesn`t look that bad... i`d drive it too... I can see the potential...
