Bootlegs are probably the most downloaded files on the site. The videos come second I think, although now that people steal them and post them on Youtube they don't get as many hits.

New site - All downloads are for members only.
(Might encourage more people to post when they sign up )

Hmm... I wonder if maybe downloads should be restricted to people with at least 10 posts or something? That way they can't just sign up for the downloads and never say anything.

It's a nice idea, but I hate forcing people to post, because they will just post junk to try to get to 10 posts:

1. I had a coffee this morning. Coffee is good.
2. Who here comes from planet Earth
3. I feel like another coffee
4. I might make another coffee
5. I'm making another coffee
6. I'm almost out of milk
7. Luckily there's plenty of coffee left
8. I'm drinking my coffee
9. I'm almost finished drinking my coffee
10. I've finished my coffee. Now I can download your files! Bye, I'll never be back again.

Yes, we really want that don't we....
I'm just going to make sure that as soon as they are logged in, it encourages them to make posts through the site. Lots of eye-catching banners for the Soul Food Cafe etc will work, as well as 'related forum threads' under certain pages
