I just got the new Huey Lewis and The News greatest hits and videos CD/DVD and found that on the music video for The Power Of Love, during the song, the camera cuts to the crowd and two guys dressed exactly like the Brothers are dancing around and cheering! it gos by fast but it was weird because Huey Lewis and the News isnt exactly what the brothers are into. if you get a chance check it out, you can get the CD realy anywere CD's are sold or if you own the Back To The Future Trilogy DVD set the music video is in the special features on the first disc.:wink:

Looks much better now, 440RULEZ! I should've done that. The video quality really is like that, it has nothing to do with my DVD or DVD player.

It happens very quickly- no more than 2 seconds.

I'm usually skeptical about these Blues Brothers references, a lot of the time it's just people wearing suits and sunglasses. But this HAS to be some kind of BB reference, they even have the skinny black ties and the right hat (don't like like Wayfarer sunglasses though).

Definitely a Jake and Elwood reference, well spotted!

Well the 80s obsession with Ray-Ban Wayfarers was partially from the Blues Brothers, and partially from that movie Risky Business, with Tom Cruise the alien worshipping Scientologist.

Watched Risky Buisness for the frist time on my trip.
In the car as they're racing, the passenger says "Hit it!". BB refrence, perhaps? Or is my mind just set in "BB Overdrive".

I've even noticed BB references in some horror films..I think there's one in Hocus Pocus at the fancy dress dance..there's a BB person there too. Maybe I'm wrong but just maybe, maybe I'm right.

You mean like Marty's disguise in BTTFII? XD I think that was some mixture between movies tho...

Tho Blues brothers refs are kinda out there, I saw some guys look like them (tho only one had a hat) ina country music video

Then there's the Tonzura Brothers from MOTHER 2, also smash bros. ... and melee...

and the car crash thing in Jet Set Radio, definate spoof to the pileup in chicago, tho it was under a bridge rather than a train... thing.
