Well, they say you can uy it for 400 Euro plus 35 Euro for shipping. But they only send it to germany or austria, but if you ask them in an email they maybe send it also out of europ.

They say:
The guitar is used but in very good condition.
Than they say somthing how the guitar is made, that I don't understand (I play Saxphon, sorry). Something about a sound like a "Gibson, Les Paul" and a "Fender, Stratcaster"
The guitar is design and was once owned by Matt Murphy himself. The guitar has got a serialnumber which is 004. They say that 001, 002 and 003 are still Murphys.

I emailed the seller to post an english Text about the guitar in this forum, so that everybody can understand it.

I thought it was only designed by Matt, I had no idea it was actually owned (and probably played at least once) by him.

I don't speek german but "google traduction tool" was realy helpfull ! In fact it's said that it's a gibson serial number : #4 wich was owned by Matt himsefl. The seller adds that the #1 and #3 are still in owned by "the blues brothers"

BUT, do you think it's realy Matt's guitar ? I mean, 300€ (or 400€ for direct buy) it's realy realy cheap ! Isen't it ?

Sometimes people sell them cheap because they desperately need the money. Or perhaps they got it really cheap in the first place, and they're still making a profit.
Or they don't know what it's worth and just want to get some money out of it, as long as it's more than it cost then who cares, right?

Or it could be a fake, always a possibility (check the feedback if possible)

Now hold it just a second...

There's written NOWHERE, that this very Guitar with Serial No. 4 was EVER owned by Matt "Guitar" Murphy, only the first three Numbers belong to him personally. This is the first guitar to come out of the fabric WITHOUT having been owned by Matt.

Ah well, the Auction is finished anyway, and no one has bought the guitar. Maybe it will come to ebay again...

And besides, it's sold in Austria, not in Germany (still two different countries).

Greetings,

George :BB:
