Wanted to let everyone know about a benefit for Curtis Salgado, the Original Blues Brother, who inspired John Belushi. We have an on-line auction which includes a briefcase full of blues stuff from Judy Belushi-Pisano, Dan Aykroyd and the House of Blues.
Website is www.bayareabluesbenefit.com.
Thanks.

From what my family tells me, Curtis is sounding better than ever! Things must be working out. Curtis and I used to play the same nightclubs in the Northwest when I lived there before taking this gig at Universal Studio's Orlando.

I have several of Curtis Salgado's recordings, good stuff, but I would love to hear him from back in the day when he did "I don't Know" and the old blues that inspired the Blues Brothers. Does anyone know if these early recordings exist?
