Hi everybody!!
I'm Italian, so I've got some problems to understand songs' words sometimes... I can't find these 3 songs' texts all over internet... X-/
RED, WHITE & BLUES
SWEET HOME CHICAGO (Blues Brothers & Friends Live from Chicago's HOB Version)
BORN IN CHICAGO (Blues Brothers & Friends Live from Chicago's HOB Version)
Could you write for me ALL the words, please? Also when Elwood and Zee talk... For example "Listen up, now! One and One is two, two and two is four, I see my brother Jake..."
THANKS!!

Well I know the original versions if this helps: Not in Italian though...Two of my favorites!!
BORN IN CHICAGO-The Paul Butterfield Blues Band
I was born in Chicago in 19 and 41
I was born in Chicago in 19 and 41
Well my father told me, son you had better get a gun
Well my first friend went down when I was 17 years old
Well my first friend went down when I was 17 years old
Well there's one thing I can say about that boy, he got bold
Well my second friend went down when I was 21 years of age
Well my second friend went down when I was 21 years of age
Well there's one thing I can say about that boy, he got brave
Well now rules are alright if there's someone left to play the game
Well now rules are alright if there's someone left to play the game
All my friends are goin' and things just don't seem the same,
No things just don't seem the same babe...
SWEET HOME CHICAGO-Magic Sam (original by Robert Johnson)
Come on baby don't you wanna go,
Come on baby don't you wanna go,
Back to that same old place sweet home Chicago
Come on baby don't you wanna go,
Hidey-hay baby don't you wanna go
Back to that same old place sweet home Chicago
1 and 1 is 2
6 and 2 is 8
Come baby don't you make me late
Hidey-hay baby don't you wanna go
Back to that same old place sweet home Chicago
1 and 1 is 2
2 and 2 is 4
Come on baby don't you wanna go
Hidey-hay baby don't you wanna go
Back to that same old place sweet home Chicago
Come on baby don't you wanna go
Come on baby don't you wanna go
Back to that same old place sweet home Chicago
Come on baby don't you wanna go
Come on baby don't you wanna go
Back to that same old place sweet home Chicago
Now the second verse on this song differs a little in the BB version, at least in the movie it goes like this:
6 and 3 is 9
9 and 9 is 18
Look there brother baby and I'll see what I seen
I think thats what he says...It's kind of hard to tell.
As far as Red, White and, Blues goes and the talking I don't have that album so I can't really help you with that. It's very hard to find music for these songs too. At least the originals. At least for me. Alaska is not the most bluesy state. I hope I helped you.
ROCK THE BLUES BABY!!!!
BY the way do you play an instrument? I play Guitar. I have a Black Fender Aerodyne Stratocaster! It's very cool.
