Okay, in the last concert bootleg John says two or three times they were making a live album. How come there was no live album released?Just curious.

They did:
It's the "Made in America"- Album from 1980.
Some alternetive versions and "Expressway to your Heart" were released later in 1981 on the "Best of..."-Album.

Expressway was recorded on the sam night of Briefcase Full Of Blues - its in the Blues Brothers Complete booklet

:P You're kiddin' me. If it wouldn't be to much to ask could you type or post a picture of what the whole booklet says. Please. Also thats two songs they cut out of the first album.

Sorry jake_lee_blues,
but "Expressway to Your Heart" was recorded in 1981 (as said in the booklet to "The Best of the Blues Brothers"). "Briefcase full of Blues" was recorded and released in 1978. Maybe you were talking about "Excusez moi mon cherie"??? This song was recorded the same night as "Briefcase full of Blues" but only released as the b-side to the "Soul Man"-Singel in 1978 and later rereleased and the "Complete"-CD-set.

On "Made in America" they released only the new songs, exept for "Expressway to Your Heart", which (as I said) was released a year later on "The Best of the Blues Brothers".
