[gonna_be_Blues]

Next week I am traveling to Chicago to perform an Improv show http://www.improvfailures.com/ITN.html and if I happen to be in the area of any places, I would like to see any locations that John might have gone; clubs, bars, restaurants, anywhere. I have a list of Blues Bros filming locations, but I'm wondering if anyone here has any John-specific locations.

(and anything else I should check out would be good to know also.)

In case you didnt know, John is a native of Wheaton Illinois, which is a suburb west of Chicago. I don't know of any specific locations, except for him being a performer at the Second City comedy club and he and Dan used to own a blues club downtown.

Isn't the real Olympia Diner in Chicago somewhere? I can't remember if that was the one Rizzolo_for_8 pointed out to me

You could try to find the house where he made himself a sandwich and took a nap on the couch...

I think that's supposed to be near the mall in Harvey.

i thought it was the billy goat taveren ? with sam sianos (?) the guy who put the curse on the cubs ? theres the one on lower michigan and on on madiso by the stadium oh sorry the united center .

want it also rumored to be in cicero by mrs. tarentino's house ?i have heard both stories and places .
