Hey everyone,

I live in Portland Oregon. I have to sell my bluesmobile before I can finish restoring it.

The interior has been reupholstered to the CHP orignal gold color.
It is a Monaco Custom and has a 360 engine. The car still needs the spotlight and pushbar. I have a NOS grille for the front.

I have pictures of the interior and exterior if you'd like to see them.
My other email address is: jamiemcf97216@yahoo.com

Perhaps you could upload your images to PhotoBucket or ImageShack, and then post them on this page?

The seats look very nice!!!

Where did you get the reupholstery done? Did they locate old stock fabric?
Do you have or could you please take some detail pic of the fabric?

If it really is the same fabric I have on my seats I need to contact these guys to get enough of it to let a local shop do the work - if you could give me their contact details also...

My seats need to be done anyway including springs but I refuse to start this before I have the right fabric.

Thanks!

-Robert

The fabric was bought at SMS Auto Fabrics in Canby Oregon. They have small samples of the cloth in the displays. I believe that they can even reproduce the door panels!!!!

The upholstery was done at a local shop in Portland.

As far as the price, I'd like to break even on the investment.
Perhaps $3000 for the car.

no harsh words taken .

its just that i swear i have seen that car befor some where , like on ebay or some thing like that , those colors stick with you , hard to forget them .

as for the hard for them to hide line was for the department who owned it last . those colors probly glow in the dark , so it would be hard to hide to catch speeders etc... :D

Hey gang,

To solve the mystery..... The car in the driveway is a former Marin County Sheriff's squad car. I did buy it off Ebay sight unseen. This is my holy grail that I am saving for sometime "later on down the road".

The car came from a yard in Santa Rosa California.

Aw Yes, The old "Dont judge a book by its cover, or The Holy Grail by it's look trick" Learned that one from Indiana Jones and the last Crusade

I do like the Idea of a cop who glows in the dark Ha!, If you get busted on a dark and lonely road by him You gotta know you deserve it, so just hold the License, Insurance and credit card out the window! You could try "What?! What did I do?!" but dont count on it.
