Yesturday I was trying to change lanes while driving when I almost hit the car next to me. As I finally merged safely, I realized the car now behind me that I almost hit was a cop! a Narc on top of it!

Anyways they decided to pull me over. They checked my name and seen I was clean but as they were talking to me, the officer that was standing on the passenger side of the car noticed my "Belushi" book lying on the back seat. He said,

"You read about Belushi eh?"

I said "Yes, his wife Judy just wrote a new book on him, thats it"

He said "Oh wow she wrote a new book huh?"

" He was a drug addict wasent he?"

I said "yea unfortunatly. If he wasent he would still be around"

He said "Yea it's a shame. He was great"

then he said "Ok kid get outta here" and let me go.
thanks to John he didnt search my car and find the Joint I had on me.

thought I'd share that.

a lot of people around here would be surprised at how cool chicago cops realy are ! if you treat them with respect , they treat you back the same way , the last time i got a ticket for blowing a red light the cop asked me who i thought i was .. elwood ? i had on the soundtrack at the time on the radio . even though i got a ticket any way ( which i fought and won in court cop was a no show ) the officer was sorry he had to give a fan a ticket , just doing there job .

chicago cops are the greatest !!!

Chicago's finest.

I got pulled over once in Jersey and I swear the cop let me off because I had cajun music playing in the car.

That's cool about the belushi book, though.

When i used to live in Manchester i used to get pulled over at least twice a day because when i was 17-18 i looked 12 and the police thought i'd stole the car!!I had to get a letter from Manchester Headquaters to say that i was who i was and to leave me alone. Some police were all right but others liked to flex their authority!!
Their taking a lot of stick at the moment over the Menendez incident!!

as for booster seats here in illinois the law says you have to be 4'9" befor you can do with out one , but 11 ?? thats old for a booster seat i do agree .
