but still a cool list. The BB however was not in it. no 1979. It rang a few bells for me . the movies , Mickey One and Return to Me are special movies to me. Special because I have relatives that are actually in those movies!! and not just extras either.
In mickey one, The scene in the club where the girl is striping, you see individual close ups of the men watching her in front of the stage. These men are my Uncles and Cousins. Which are now deceased. But It is amazing how lucky they were to get in such a good shot. I watch the movie every time its on tv just to see that part.
In Return to Me, as David Ducuvney( I know its spelled wrong ) Enters the resturant where Minnie Driver works, she is singing with the musicians that play there. These strolling musicians are my relatives. Two uncles and Two cousins. The lead violin player and Bass player are my uncles . They are really playing and singing and are also on the movie soundtrack. The Rudy Gabor strolling strings.
I had to mention this when I noticed them in your list.

I remember when I was in Chicago back in September, and I was watching the Fugitive on TV, and I realised that some of the locations were streets away!
I had the same fun in New York a week later, I was watching Law and Order, trying to find out how far I was from the site of all the murders (thankfully Law & Order actually shows you the address of nearly everywhere they go to on the show

Maybe BB2K was kept off the list because very little of it was filmed in Chicago, and they don't want people watching the movie and thinking Canada is Illinois?

I know that one shot of the Bluesmobile driving under the EL was re-used in the Animal House documentary about the characters.

thats exactly why I kept it off. It is not a Chicago movie!!! I strongly think that this was the one thing that messed the whole movie up. None of that shit is Chicago. Not even the police cruiser that passes by behind Elwood in front of Cabs. I think it would of gave the movie a lot more flavor if it was filmed here.
By the way The prison scenes where also shot here. (Joliet)
