I was thinking it would be great if we could all like work on a drawing of the same pose and then compare. I know it sounds like a competition but it is NOT. My idea is to think of a Jake and Elwood pose, explain it and then have everyone draw it how they see it. It is not to compete but just to see how everyone uses there minds in art. If you are interested in participating in my idea, Check this out...

Heres the drawing I had in mind

Let's try to draw Jake and Elwood when they are on maxwell st., in front of Matt Murphy's soul food resturant, looking at John Lee Hooker sing and play with his band on the street. This is a very classic BB pose. you can find it very easiley in the movie. the camera stays on them for a good few seconds. Elwood has his arms folded if I remember correctly. He is standing next to Jake who has a lil smurke on his face.(Great shot)

I havent even started mine yet. With work and Christmas, forget about it. I agree you have to be in the right mood. Anyways art is not to be rushed!

OOOOk, the holidays are over. Not to rush anyone but, did anybody do anything yet? I have two differnt things im working on but shy to post first.

I've been thinking about starting. Just trying to get a good picture I guess that's what my hold up is. I think there is one in Belushi. I'm going to use that... I think. I hate drawing from the t.v./dvd It ends up going to a different screen and changing where I was. So I'll just use that picture. I'll get on ASAP!!

Okay now I'm worried.... Jakefreak you said you were too shy to post your first one well now I'm scared!! No one has said anything or posted any of there's I was an ice breaker where's the rest of you guys?

don't worry i'm posting mine tomorrow, i finished it but up until now i haven't had a way to upload it.
