Tom Malone's instruments

Which is his favored instrument, the trombone or the saxophone? Or perhaps another we haven't seen him play?

He is first and foremost a trombone player, as far as I know.

Yea, now he's on David Letterman with Paul Shaffer doing Trombone with the house band.

I see him on Letterman all the time. He's usually playing trombone or piccolo.
You can't miss him with the bright suits he always wears!

The CBS Orchestra once did a great version of 'Green Onions'! It was the same arrangement as 'Made in America', and even now, 20 years later, Paul Shaffer plays the keyboard solo exactly the same way as he did back then!

I recently saw "Bones" on Letterman "putting away the Late Show bear." Pretty funny. He did it with his trombone.

I'm sure the "Bones" in his name came from trombone.
